This class will focus on the real world of the freelance actor and how to work and get work in radio and television commercials, industrial and training videos, network television and feature films.

Students should be prepared to be challenged as their acting, improvisational and thinking skills are put to the test in real-life auditioning and performing situations that will give each and every student a realistic picture of what it takes to make a living as an actor in this region and beyond. This class will challenge and teach all levels of talent.

NEW TELEPROMPTER CLASS

"Making A Prompter Make You Money"

There's money to be made as an on-camera narrator. Stiff, awkward readers don't get hired and re-hired in this market, but warm, convincing conversationalists do! David DeBoy will teach you the tricks that will make you a comfortable professional in front of the camera in every situation.

With over 25 years as a working union actor in this region, David has hosted and narrated for HGTV, the Social Security Administration, The Department of Defense, The Department of Agriculture, Fannie Mae and many, many more clients. Now David is happy to share his TelePrompter and Ear Prompter expertise with you. Over the course of this one-day seminar, David will reveal the secrets of turning the written word into believable, conversational speech. You will be put into real-world situations where TelePrompter becomes second nature, and your Ear Prompter becomes a trusted friend.

Students must bring a mini-tape recorder with an ear plug (an extra tapes and batteries) as well as a blank VHS so that we can record your performance throughout the day for your own personal evaluation and critique. David will instruct a small group of students in the use of TelePrompter and Ear Prompter in a class that will be very "hands-on," "ears-on" and "eyes-on"! He will spent 3 hours on the Ear Prompter and 3 hours on the Tele Prompter.

Students must bring a mini-recorder and ear-buds to class. This one-day seminar will challenge and teach all levels of talent in the best technique for delivering copy to the camera by way of TelePrompter and Ear Prompter.

ADVANCED TelePrompter and Ear Prompter Seminar

Have you dome some TelePrompter but would like to improve? Like to use your Ear Prompter in auditions and in dialogue scenes? David DeBoy will take you to the next step in this rigorous seminar meant to prepare you for any and all scenarios.

PRIVATE CLASSES

Ask any of his students - David DeBoy teaches actors how to be better actors, and more importantly, how to get the job. Now, David offers his 25 years of experience in PRIVATE CLASSES.

The student will be evaluated under real-world auditioning conditions and a course of instruction will be customized to address their needs and weaknesses.

All work performed in class will be put on videotape for the actor to review and learn from. David will work with the student on a wide range of topics including, auditioning skills, personal communication skills, acting for the camera, working in the world of feature films and more.

If you want to improve yourself in auditions, commercials, industrial films, television and movies, and if you're ready for an honest evaluation of what you need to learn, then David DeBoy is ready to work with you.

David has been a union actor for over 25 years in this market with national credits in commercials, television and feature films. $75/Hour with a 2 Hour minimum.
